Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a production operator to run and maintain machinery across all shifts in a high-volume facility. The role emphasizes safe operation, sanitation, and adherence to food safety standards in a six-day workweek environment.

Responsibilities include operating Blenders, Cookers, Fryers, Mixers, and Packing Machines, plus cleaning, disassembly, and reassembly of equipment. The position requires physical endurance and the ability to work overtime and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3 months of machine operator experience required.
• Ability to push, pull, and carry up to 75 lbs.
• Ability to stand on hard surfaces for up to 12 hours per day.
• Willingness to work overtime and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Operate and sanitize production equipment such as Blenders, Cookers, Fryers, Mixers, and Packing Machines as assigned.
• Inspect and monitor product quality and process parameters.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning and setup, following food safety practices.
• Follow USDA and Quality Control Regulations and GMP standards.
• Maintain a clean, orderly work area and proper disposal of cleaning chemicals.
