Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a Maintenance Supervisor to manage all aspects of plant maintenance coordination on B shift in the United States. You will lead and train nine technicians, direct repairs, and optimize preventive maintenance while upholding SQF and GMP standards.

The role requires strong leadership, PLC basics, SAP/Office proficiency, and a commitment to a safe, efficient plant environment. Weekend work is expected in a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Lead, direct, evaluate, and train a staff of nine maintenance technicians.
• Measure, monitor, and reduce machine downtime.
• Diagnose basic PLC, electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, plumbing issues and direct repairs.
• Promote a Safety First culture among staff.
• Develop and maintain effective preventive maintenance programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct maintenance technicians to ensure safe, clean operations.
• Oversee preventive maintenance programs for equipment and plant facilities.
• Quickly assess problems to minimize production downtime.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, GMP, and Tyson policies and procedures.
