Job summary

The Site Supervisor at Fortrex oversees daily sanitation teams in our customer's plants, ensuring safety, cleanliness, and regulatory compliance. You will direct sanitors and leads, assign work, and monitor performance to maintain high food safety standards.

Ideal candidates bring leadership, basic computer skills, and the ability to work in a wet, hot or cold environment while wearing PPE. This role requires 6+ months sanitation experience and a commitment to teamwork and safety.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 6+ months of sanitation experience.
• Leadership and decision-making skills required.
• Basic computer literacy and MS Office familiarity.
• Ability to wear PPE and work in extreme temperatures.
• GED not required but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily sanitation staff and leads.
• Assign work and monitor performance.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance with policies.
• Evaluate staff for promotions or changes in status.
• Uphold procedures from Handbook, Safety Handbook, and Cleaning Procedures.
• Assist with safety training and ERP implementation.
• Report and investigate accidents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
