Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee hourly Food Safety Sanitors and lead Persons in designated plant areas, ensuring safe, efficient operations and compliance with regulations. The role emphasizes strong leadership, daily task planning, training support, and collaboration with site management.

The position requires 18+ and sanitation experience; candidates should be proficient with Microsoft Office and able to work in varied temperatures.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ months of sanitation experience.
• Leadership and decision‑making skills are required.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Ability to read, write, add, and subtract.
• Ability to work in environments with extreme temperature fluctuations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise sanitors and lead personnel in designated areas.
• Direct daily work and allocate tasks among team.
• Ensure safety, efficiency, and policy compliance.
• Evaluate staff for promotions or changes in status.
• Assist Site Manager with safety training and ERP programs.
• Report and investigate accidents.
• Other duties as assigned.
