Job summary

Fortrex is seeking a Site Supervisor to lead sanitation teams at our customer plants, ensuring clean, safe, and compliant operations. You will oversee hourly sanitors, enforce safety policies, and drive continuous improvement within assigned areas. A strong leadership mindset and the ability to train staff are essential for success. Fortrex values teamwork and adherence to high food safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• 6+ months of sanitation experience.
• Proven leadership and decision-making abilities.
• General computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to wear PPE in a wet, hot, or cold environment.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic arithmetic.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily supervision of sanitation staff across assigned departments.
• Provide leadership and decision-making to optimize sanitation operations.
• Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and adherence to company policies.
• Coordinate with Site Manager on training, safety, and ERP initiatives.
• Investigate accidents and report findings.
