Job summary

Golden State Foods is seeking a dependable Janitorial / Sanitation Associate to help maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout our Liquid Products Department. This role supports food safety and facility operations with duties across offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas.

You will perform cleaning tasks, follow safety procedures, and complete required training while wearing PPE in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications.
• Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and wearing required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform all cleaning and sanitation tasks in compliance with environmental, health, safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, wipe down surfaces, and clean under racks and equipment as required.
• Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of materials properly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, seat covers, disinfectants, utensils, paper cups, and coffee supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment, including walk‑behind and ride‑on floor scrubbers.
• Clean hallways, stairways, freezer areas, and production support rooms while wearing required PPE.
• Document completed work as directed by your supervisor.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
