Job summary

Golden State Foods in Burleson, TX seeks a dependable Janitorial/Sanitation Associate for the Liquid Products Department. The role involves maintaining a clean, safe facility and supporting food safety and employee comfort in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities include cleaning offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas; operating floor scrubbers; restocking supplies; and maintaining documentation. Training and PPE are required to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to follow safety and sanitation procedures.
• Willingness to complete required training and certifications.
• Ability to work independently and take pride in maintaining a clean environment.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting and wearing required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform cleaning and sanitation tasks per environmental, health, safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Clean and maintain restrooms, offices, break rooms, locker rooms, and common areas.
• Sweep, mop, dust, wipe surfaces, and clean under racks and equipment.
• Empty trash and recycle containers and dispose of materials properly.
• Replenish supplies such as soap, towels, tissue, disinfectants, and coffee supplies.
• Operate cleaning equipment including floor scrubbers.
• Maintain cleanliness in hallways, stairs, freezer areas, and production spaces with PPE.
• Document completed work as directed by supervisor.
• Complete required training and certifications.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
