SK Food Group is seeking a Sanitation Manager in Cleveland, TN to lead the plant sanitation program and drive continuous improvement. The role focuses on compliance with Ready-To-Eat, SQF, USDA, FDA, and CFIA standards while managing environmental monitoring and third-party services.

Reporting to the Sr. Plant Director, this exempt position oversees sanitation operations, budgets, training, and vendor management across the site to ensure food safety and regulatory readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or eight years of related experience in food manufacturing.
• Experience with chemical hygiene/safety preferred.
• Experience in Ready-To-Eat environments, USDA facility experience required.

Responsabilités

• Lead sanitation team, promote engagement, high performance, and career development.
• Partner with Operations, Quality, Engineering, and Maintenance to ensure safe, high-quality products.
• Own sanitation program, master schedule, and KPIs.
• Oversee training for shift associates on safety, GMPs, and regulatory requirements.
• Ensure readiness for visual sanitation pre-operational inspections.
• Oversee sanitation budgets and vendor/contractor interactions.
• Drive preventive, risk-based sanitation culture to eliminate contamination risks.
• Support regulatory inspections and customer audits.
• Lead root cause investigations and CAPA for microbiological, chemical, and physical hazards.
