Job summary

CPS Inc. in Nashville, TN, seeks a Sanitation Manager to lead sanitation programs ensuring a clean, food-safe environment for Ready-to-Eat products.

You will develop, implement, and improve sanitation plans while partnering with Quality, Operations, Maintenance and Food Safety teams to stay audit-ready. Ideal candidates have at least 5 years in food manufacturing sanitation with leadership experience, strong GMP knowledge, and experience with SQF/FDA/FSMA compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of sanitation experience in a food manufacturing environment.
• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of GMPs, sanitation principles, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience with sanitation chemicals, foam cleaning systems, COP systems, and sanitation equipment.
• PCQI, HACCP, SQF Practitioner experience preferred; Lean/CI experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership to the sanitation team and plan staffing for production demands.
• Own the Master Sanitation Schedule (MSS) and SSOPs to ensure timely cleaning.
• Lead sanitation verification programs, including ATP monitoring and allergen cleaning validation.
• Ensure compliance with SQF, FDA, FSMA, GMP and customer requirements.
• Manage chemical programs, SDS compliance, and sanitation budgets.
• Collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Quality and Food Safety teams.
