Job summary

Old Wisconsin is seeking a dedicated general helper to support the line seven scaling and feeding system in a food processing facility. You will disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble and test-run the system prior to shift start-up.

This role requires reading simple instructions, performing measurements, and handling heavy lifting. Training will cover sanitation chemicals and operating the Triangle system to ensure safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to use a scissor lift (training provided).
• Qualified to use sanitation chemicals (training provided).
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos.

Responsibilities

• Disassemble, clean, sanitize, reassemble and test-run the line seven scaling and feeding system prior to first shift start-up.
• Disassembly of the Triangle system.
• Cleaning of the Triangle scale system.
• Cleaning of the Urschel slicer.
• Cleaning of the Z conveyor.
• Other duties as assigned (to be done on nights when the Triangle system does not have to be cleaned).
• Report safety and quality issues to supervisor, manager, or QA to initiate action.
