The ideal candidate will ensure proper handling and transportation of waste, while adhering to safety standards. Previous experience in sanitation services is preferred, and the role demands flexibility in hours, including weekends. Responsibilities

• Keep designated garbage collection areas clean and cleared daily.
• Transport garbage to defined collection areas.
• Safely operate a company vehicle for garbage transport.
• Execute daily tasks provided by Stewarding leadership, involving overall property back-of-house support.
• Communicate potential dumpster-cycling with the Facilities team.
• Safely operate a company side-by-side vehicle, transporting garbage throughout the resort, following all SOPs.

Job Summary

The Sanitation Engineer is responsible for ensuring trash is transported, processed, and disposed properly to the compactor, while ensuring compliance with cleanliness standards in all areas pertaining to garbage management.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Keep all designated garbage collection areas clean and cleared daily
• Transport all garbage to defined collection areas or process with the trash compactor accordingly
• Work in close coordination with the Stewarding team to ensure fulfillment of property needs
• Executive daily tasks provided by Stewarding leadership, involving overall property back‑of‑house support
• Communicate potential dumpster‑cycling with the Facilities team
• Safely operate a company 'side‑by‑side' vehicle, transporting garbage throughout the resort, following all provided SOPs, guidelines, and maintenance directives
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Chief Steward, or other members of Management

Skills, Experience, & Educational Requirements

• Prior experience in sanitation services, garbage collection, or janitorial work preferred but not required
