Job summary

One&Only Moonlight Basin is seeking an experienced Housekeeping lead to manage the entire housekeeping function in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper. You will oversee guest rooms, public areas, laundry, and back of house operations, ensuring service vision and standards.

You will guide team performance, schedule training, and maintain strict inventory controls, linen levels, and VIP room service while upholding One&Only standards.

Qualifications

• High School education required.
• 2 years of supervisory or management experience in housekeeping.
• Basic computer skills including Word/Excel and Opera.
• Basic accounting skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all housekeeping operations in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager.
• Assign and monitor daily tasks; ensure task quality and efficiency.
• Maintain linen stock at standard par levels and oversee inventories.
• Review performance appraisals in line with company policies.
• Ensure VIP rooms receive morning and turndown service and special requests are fulfilled.

Job Summary

Under the general direction of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager, and within the limits of the hotel’s policies and procedures manage the entire Housekeeping function in the absence of the Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager for the property. This includes the service vision and concepts, oversees and directs all aspects of overall Housekeeping operations which includes guest rooms, public areas, laundry and back of house areas.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

• Ensure that all Housekeeping team members report for duty in a timely manner and are issued with the relevant tools of the trade to carry out daily tasks
• Hand out all work assignments to each Housekeeping team member. Follow-up on tasks assigned to team members regarding job quality and efficiency
• Ensure the linen stock is adequately managed in that Par Levels as well as general condition of the linen is maintained at standard
• Ensure that all operating inventories are accurate and timely ordering of report to Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager
• Responsible for reviewing and assisting performance appraisals of Housekeeping team members based on the One&Only Moonlight Basin company policies and guidelines
• To ensure all Very Important Guest (VIP) rooms are checked for morning and turndown service
• Responsible for inspecting VIP rooms and taking care of any special requirements (Service pillow menu…)
• Ensure all maintenance issues are reported to the Maintenance department and Security department and to be follow up
• Ensure that any losses or damages to furniture and fittings or equipment are reported to Housekeeping Management/Security department
• Plan schedules for Special Cleaning (spring cleaning, windows, high windows, marble, sandstone areas, basement parking, and carpets etc.)
• To identify training needs, especially for Housekeeping team, assist in the development of formal and informal training plans and implement training sessions on an on-going basis and to inform Executive Housekeeper and Housekeeping Manager
• To assist with any other duties as assigned

Skills, Qualifications And Requirements
