Job summary

Kraft Heinz Company in Newberry, SC is seeking a sanitation associate to maintain cleanliness of production and non-production areas. You will perform wash and sanitize tasks on infrastructure and equipment, ensuring readiness for inspections.

You'll work on the 6:00pm-2:30am or 9:00pm-5:30am shifts, with two weekend shifts per month and holiday coverage. Overtime may be required; familiarity with PPE and GMP is essential for product quality and food safety.

Qualifications

Pay

Pay starting is $20.80/hr. ($23.50/hr. requires cross training with production operations) $1.50 - $2.00/hr. Shift Differential Annual increases

Work Schedule

6:00pm - 2:30am (Monday-Friday) 9:00pm - 5:30am (Monday-Friday) Required to work two weekends out of the month and holidays if needed. *Overtime work as required*

Job Overview

Employees will perform cleanliness and sanitation of the production and non-production areas in the plant.

• Wash and sanitize all infrastructure/equipment in or outside of the plant for inspection
• Disassemble equipment and prepare for sanitation process
• Utilize high-pressure hoses, foamers, and sanitizers including portable units
• Be able to work with sanitation chemicals

Working Conditions

Work is indoors; primary production floor is wet and cold; secondary locations are occasionally wet, seasonal climate.
