Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is hiring a Sanitation Teammate to maintain cleanliness in offices, DCs, and transportation areas. You will perform general cleaning, sanitizing, and waste management to support a safe, efficient warehouse environment.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with two shift options. Benefits begin after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, FSA/HSA, life insurance, vacation, sick leave, and holidays. Candidates must be 18+ with a HS diploma or GED.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Must read, write, and understand English at work level.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in offices, DC, and related areas.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and entrances.
• Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, and stock supplies.
• Paint interior and exterior as needed.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour.
• 9am-5:30pm and 12pm-8:30pm.

What you’ll do as a Sanitation Teammate:

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications you’ll bring as a Warehouse Teammate:

• At least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
