Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate to help maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment in Concord, NC. You’ll follow established safety protocols and work as part of a team to keep offices, break rooms, DC, and transportation areas spotless.

The role offers steady, daytime hours with a pay rate of $18.00 per hour and benefits after 60 days, including medical, dental, vision, and life insurance, plus vacation and holidays after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.
• Read, write, and understand English to perform tasks safely.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick-up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

• Monday-Friday 7:00AM-3:30PM or Sunday-Wednesday 9:00AM-7:30PM

• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
