McLane Company, Inc. is seeking a Sanitation Teammate in Taylorville, IL. You will maintain a clean environment across offices, DC, and transportation areas, and perform cleaning tasks throughout the facility.

The role requires 18+ and English literacy for safety and operations. This part-time position involves varied duties including restroom sanitation, windows, floors, and upkeep of break rooms and entrances.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read, write and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely.
• Able to perform accurate visual inspections.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a clean work environment across offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash, wipe surfaces, clean windows/walls in offices.
• Clean and sanitize restrooms; empty trash; sweep/mop floors; replenish supplies.
• Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash; clean surfaces; replenish supplies in break rooms, entrances and locker areas.
• Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets in DC/Transportation.
• Pick up/empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans in Division Grounds.
• Paint inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.

What You’ll Do As a Sanitation Teammate

• Maintain a clean work environment in the offices, break rooms, DC, and Transportation areas.
• Offices: vacuum and/or mop floors, empty trash cans, wipe surfaces, clean windows /walls, etc.
• Restrooms: Clean & sanitize surfaces, empty trash, sweep/mop floors, replenish supplies, etc.
• Break rooms, entrances and locker areas: Wash windows, sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean surfaces, replenish supplies, etc.
• DC / Transportation: Sweep/mop floors, empty trash, clean dock plates, clean racks and put away pallets.
• Division Grounds: Pick‑up / empty trash, maintain walkways, cut grass, empty cigarette cans
• Painting inside and outside of the facility.
• Other duties may be assigned.
