Job summary

The Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks a SANE Regional Coordinator for Northeastern Massachusetts to oversee 24/7 SANE services across eight MA hospitals and ensure trauma-informed patient care. You will recruit and contract SANE clinicians, coordinate trainings, manage on-call schedules, monitor reimbursement and data, and work with RCCs and hospital staff to support victims of sexual violence.

Qualifications

• Current and valid licensure as a professional nurse in MA.
• Minimum 4 years of nursing experience; preferably Emergency/Women’s Health/Critical Care.
• Minimum 2 years as a certified MA Adult/Adolescent SANE or equivalent.
• Must maintain MA SANE certification; supervisory/leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage 24/7 SANE services at MA NE region hospitals (N=8).
• Recruit and contract SANE clinicians for 24/7 coverage; promote diverse backgrounds.
• Coordinate SANE Certification Trainings and act as faculty.
• Develop on-call schedules and monitor contractor reimbursements.
• Provide quality assurance and support for trauma-informed exams and evidence collection.
• Collaborate with RCCs and hospital staff; support court testimony when needed.
