Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in Oregon.
• SANE-A and/or SANE-P certification would be advantageous.
• ACLS, PALS, BLS, and TNCC certifications are required or in process.
• Minimum of three years’ emergency clinical experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain the SANE program in line with guidelines.
• Coordinate SANE coverage for ED patients after sexual assault.
• Provide direct SANE nursing care when needed and ensure proper evidence handling.
• Coordinate initial and ongoing SANE training for nursing staff.
• Monitor program performance and ensure regulatory compliance.
