Job summary

Paris Baguette in New Jersey seeks a Sandwich Team Member to prepare sandwiches, salads, and sauces, ensuring high-quality, display-ready products. You will support colleagues across shifts and help maintain standard procedures and clean work areas.

The role requires basic food handling experience and a team-first mindset, with flexibility for various shifts and a commitment to Paris Baguette’s guest experience and brand values.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of food handling or related experience.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and knife handling.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a variety of sandwiches and salads.
• Being a team player assist and support in all areas of the restaurant when needed
• Makes dressings and sauces for sandwiches and pastries.
• Ensures sandwich display is presentable for internal and external customers
• Completes various reports for records such as production, usage and waste
• Maintains daily par levels and restocks station orders set up orders
• Demonstrates knowledge of the brand and menu items
• Informs supervisor when equipment is not working properly and when food supplies are getting low
• Bi-monthly and monthly inventory assessment
• Clean and sanitizes refrigerator, freezer and storage; work areas (counters/floors), equipment, containers, utensils and dishes
• Receive stock and store food in designated containers and storage areas in an organized manner

Be able to work early or overnight shifts depending on store need. Usual time is 2am-10am, sometimes earlier during holidays.
