Job summary

Rosetta Bakery in Miami, FL is hiring a Full Time Sandwich Maker to join our kitchen team. You will follow the daily production schedule, prepare items, and ensure quality while working closely with FOH and BOH to deliver a top-notch experience.

We offer a base pay of $16 per hour with generous tips, weekly direct deposit, and paid time-off accrual after 1 year. Expect a fast-paced, team-oriented environment with uniforms and policy adherence.

Qualifications

• Communicates with Chef daily to obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements.
• Performs prep tasks following recipes, quantities and quality guidelines.
• Cares for food safety: wrapping, dating and rotations; keeps area clean.
• Operates and cleans kitchen equipment after each use; adheres to safety standards.
• Works with FOH/BOH as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Stores prepared food with proper wrapping, dating and rotations.
• Complies with health sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Maintains a clean, sanitized work area at all times.

Job description

Rosetta currently has an opening for Full Time Sandwich Maker to join our team.

Skills necessary to be successful:

• Communicates with Chef daily to obtain daily production schedule and preparation requirements.
• Prepares items on production log, such as peeling, slicing, cutting, and seeding fruits and vegetables following quantity, quality, and recipes.
• Carries pans and trays of food to and from work station to front of the house, following safety standards.
• Stores prepared food in designated areas in accordance with wrapping, dating, and food safety rotations.
• Complies with all federal, state, and local health sanitation regulations and sanitation procedures.
• Adheres to following established recipes, quantity, and quality guidelines.
• Operates and cleans equipment after each use.
• Ensures the FOH is always fully stocked and works with the FOH team for any special request.
• Maintains work area clean and sanitize at all times.
• Works as part of the team with both FOH and BOH
• Requires to work in a fast-paced environment, and stand for a long period of time
• Must be willing to adhere to Rosetta Bakery Uniform & Food policy
• Performs other duties as assigned.
