Job summary

SANBAR SAND MANAGEMENT LLC in Mentone, TX is seeking a Wash Plant Operator to monitor and operate the wash plant equipment, ensuring quality sand production and efficiency.

You will perform routine inspections, maintain logs, and work with the team to optimize processes while following safety protocols. A high school diploma and plant-ops experience are preferred, and you must have own transportation and be able to work a three-week on, one-week off rotation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
• Experience in plant operations, preferably sand mining or heavy equipment.
• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• Electrical skills or maintenance experience is a plus.
• Ability to operate and maintain machinery with attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities.
• Reliable transportation to the facility.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor wash plant machinery to meet production and quality standards.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting issues promptly.
• Maintain logs of transactions, daily testing, and production levels.
• Keep a clean, safe work environment in the wash plant area.
• Collaborate with team to optimize production and minimize downtime.
• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe workplace.
