Job summary

Wallstreet Sand Co. is seeking an experienced Plant Manager/Foreman to lead daily plant operations in West Texas. The role blends hands-on leadership with oversight of crew scheduling and safety compliance, including MSHA/OSHA rules.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of operational leadership experience in manufacturing or similar environments.
• Strong understanding of OSHA and MSHA rules.
• Ability to read budgets, strategic plans, and blueprints.
• Excellent communication across all levels of staff and ownership.
• Dependable, punctual, with strong work ethic and urgency.
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Outlook; able to learn new systems.
• Willing to work 12-hour shifts, 7 days on/7 days off.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily plant operations and manage shift rotations.
• Enforce company policies and safety regulations (MSHA/OSHA).
• Monitor equipment (conveyors, screens, washers) to meet targets.
• Report/mechanically troubleshoot failures; schedule repairs with maintenance.
• Manage budget within limits and understand P&L implications.
• Safely operate equipment and vehicles as needed.
• Oversee site inspections and address issues promptly.
• Conduct risk assessments, toolbox talks, and safety meetings.
• Ensure training and PPE compliance for all personnel.
• Coach and discipline staff to uphold standards.
