Job summary

Smart Sand, Inc. Oakdale facility is seeking experienced Plant Operators for our Production team. The role involves operating processing systems, coordinating ground crew, and ensuring safe, efficient production across shifts.

Requirements include a high school diploma (MSHA training mandatory) and prior experience with heavy equipment in wet and dry plants. Benefits accompany a comprehensive package with shift differentials and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• MSHA training and experience are required.
• Knowledge and skill to operate basic heavy equipment pieces.
• Prior experience as a Plant Operator in both Wet and Dry plants.
• Previous leadership experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operates processing equipment systems and directs grounds crew.
• Monitors material flow and adjusts machine controls.
• Trains QA procedures per QMS and inspects product quality.
• Maintains logs and records of readings and shift production.
• Coordinates with loader operators to manage sand flow.
• Works to comply with environmental and quality systems.
