Job summary

SANBAR SAND MANAGEMENT LLC in Mentone, TX is seeking a Wash Plant Operator to monitor and operate the wash plant equipment, ensuring quality sand production and efficiency.

You will perform routine inspections, maintain logs, and work with the team to optimize processes while following safety protocols. A high school diploma and plant-ops experience are preferred, and you must have own transportation and be able to work a three-week on, one-week off rotation.

Overview:

As a Wash Plant Operator, you will monitor and operate the wash plant equipment, ensuring the quality and efficiency of sand production.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate and monitor wash plant machinery to meet production and quality standards.


• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment, reporting any issues promptly.


• Maintain logs of all transactions, daily testing, and production levels.


• Maintain a clean and safe work environment in the wash plant area.


• Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes and minimize downtime.


• Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications for Position:

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification is a plus.


• Previous experience in plant operations, preferably in the sand mining or heavy equipment industry.


• Knowledge of MSHA regulations and safety procedures.


• Electrical skills or maintenance experience is a plus.


• Understanding of machinery operation and maintenance is essential.
