Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a detail‑oriented Analyst to support OFAC and sanctions screening within Global Payment Operations. You will analyze day‑to‑day issues, run routine analytics, and generate reports to help ensure compliance across US and international customers.

The role emphasizes accuracy, data integrity, and collaboration with cross‑functional teams. Tue–Sat schedules, in‑office Richmond VA area, with base hourly pay and benefits as described.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services, operations, compliance, sanctions, or a related risk management environment.
• Experience in a highly regulated, production‑driven environment with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to remain focused in a repetitive environment.
• Ability to navigate through multiple systems while maintaining data integrity
• Analytical and detail oriented; ability to make accurate and timely decisions.
• Good oral and written communications skills.
• PC proficiency and excellent keyboarding/typing skills/data entry.
• Ability to work independently, as well as, within a team.
• Overtime as required.
• Schedule is Tuesday - Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Investigate OFAC alerts for domestic and international banking.
• Review OFAC transactions to meet compliance requirements.
• Performs item processing functions under moderate supervision within a process that has built‑in checks and balances.
• Ensures quality service and effective and efficient operations support for the assigned area's internal business partners and/or external customers/clients.
• Basic level reporting.
• Assists with coordination of implementation for products, services, and operational solutions.
• Supports the design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services.
• Provides guidance regarding procedural, technical, and operational changes.
• Expands business products knowledge within operations environment.
• Builds network by developing relationships with partners and teammates.
• Inspects data to identify issues and trends
• Collects and interprets data to validate operational processes
