Job summary

Bank of America is seeking a Sanctions Screening Analyst to join the Global Payment Operations Center of Excellence in Richmond, VA. The role supports OFAC alert investigations, processing, reporting, and coordination of product implementations in a highly regulated environment.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of financial services/ compliance experience, strong analytical skills, and ability to work independently or in a team; overtime may be required for shift coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in financial services, operations, compliance, sanctions, or a related risk management environment.
• Experience working in a highly regulated, production-driven environment with a strong focus on compliance, accuracy, and risk mitigation.
• Ability to work independently, as well as, within a team; willingness to overtime as required.

Responsibilities

• Investigate OFAC alerts for domestic and international bank businesses or services functions.
• Review OFAC transactions to meet compliance requirements.
• Performs item processing under moderate supervision with built-in checks and balances.
• Ensure quality service and efficient operations support for internal partners and external clients.
• Provide basic level reporting and assist with coordination of product/ service implementations.
• Support design, documentation, implementation, and monitoring of new products and services.
• Provide guidance on procedural, technical, and operational changes.
• Expand product knowledge within the operations environment.
• Build networks by developing relationships with partners and teammates.
• Inspect data to identify issues and trends and interpret data to validate processes.
