Job summary

Bank of America in Scranton is seeking an experienced Sanctions Analyst to handle day-to-day resolution of complex problems and research and execution of transactions within the Sanctions Screening Center of Excellence.

You will advise on design, development, and implementation of processes, monitor queues, ensure OFAC compliance, and collaborate with multiple lines of business to support timely, accurate reviews and risk management.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in Operations or Compliance; sanctions experience desired
• Knowledge of sanctions program requirements and disposition of sanctions alerts; WTX/ACH experience helpful
• Experience in client due diligence and KYC
• Highly organized with bias for action and ability to meet deadlines
• Analytical and detail oriented
• Ability to work under pressure and navigate change
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Strong risk framework and approach
• Good oral and written communications skills

Responsibilities

• Perform sanctions reviews on Transactions and/or Relationships
• Ensure OFAC compliance
• Monitor queue volumes and priorities
• Communicate with Lines of Business to retrieve information or advise of decisions
• Advise on design, development, and implementation of complex products, systems, and services
• Advise on projects and direct activities of a team on special initiatives
• Advise as a technical expert understanding business operations
• Consult on present-state and future-state approaches and guide implementation
• Identify and recommend responsibilities for key programs/projects
