Qualifications

• College degree required.
• At least four years of experience at a financial institution or government agency.
• Understanding of U.S. sanctions regulations (OFAC) and applying them to real cases.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and policies relevant to sanctions.
• Experience advising business units on sanctions applicability and regulatory changes.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior leadership.
• Proficiency with basic computer tools (MS Office).

Responsibilities

• Conduct timely investigations and disposition of sanctions-related alerts for clients and transactions.
• Gather client information from Relationship Managers and teammates to support investigations.
• Serve as a point of contact for sanctions-related questions and guidance.
• Apply analytical thinking to determine disposition and follow-up actions.
• Use screening tools to assess sanctions risk and exposure.
• Maintain knowledge of current and proposed sanctions laws and regulations.
• Participate in sanctions and AML/CFT training to stay updated.
• Monitor global events and industry trends related to sanctions compliance.
