Truist is seeking a dedicated sanctions investigator to timely review and disposition alerts related to clients, transactions, and trade documents. You will collaborate with senior Relationship Managers and branch teams to gather information and ensure compliance with OFAC and other sanctions laws.

The role requires a college degree, 4+ years of relevant experience, and strong communication skills. Training will be provided to maintain up-to-date knowledge of sanctions regulations and industry

Formación

• Understanding of OFAC and U.S. sanctions regulations.
• Experience conducting sanctions investigations in financial services.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently under time constraints.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct timely investigations and dispositions of sanctions-related alerts.
• Gather client information from Relationship Managers and branches.
• Serve as contact for internal sanctions questions.
• Apply analytical skills to decide on disposition of alerts.
• Use research tools to assess sanctions risk and exposure.
• Maintain knowledge of current and proposed sanctions laws.
• Participate in sanctions and AML/CFT training programs.
• Stay aware of events and trends affecting sanctions risk.
