Job summary

VPI is seeking a reliability-focused Sample Room Shipping Clerk in Appleton, WI. You will pick, pack, and ship customer samples, review orders, maintain shipment records, and coordinate daily shipping activities with carriers and internal teams.

Responsibilities include inventory control, quality checks, and communicating status to customers and departments. The role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency with ERP/order processing systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years shipping, inventory control, warehouse operations, customer service, or related field preferred.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with internal/external stakeholders.
• Working knowledge of shipping systems, inventory management, and ERP-based order processing systems preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and systems such as Business Central, BPCS/LX, ORD700, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack, and ship customer sample orders accurately and per specifications.
• Review orders and special instructions for correct fulfillment.
