Job summary

Pace is seeking a Client Service Technician to support the sample receiving department in our environmental testing laboratory. You will receive training to perform essential duties and build a laboratory sciences career in a collaborative environment.

You will coordinate sample-related activities, maintain documentation, and participate in training on lab policies. The role requires readiness to work in lab/office settings and wear PPE as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a laboratory or environmental testing setting is preferred, but not required.
• Ability to perform work in a lab or office setting, remain standing for long periods, walk around campus, work around strong smells, and wear PPE (lab coat, safety glasses and gloves; PPE provided).
• Ability to lift weights up to about 20-30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform sample-related activities, including shipping and receiving, processing and administration.
• Maintain and update appropriate documentation and databases.
• Participate in training on fundamental lab support policies, programs, and practices.
