Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in North Kingstown, RI is seeking a Sample Receiving Supervisor for a full-time day shift Monday through Friday. The role oversees daily sample receiving operations, including login, chain of custody review, and distribution of environmental samples, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Ideal candidate has at least 1 year of supervisory experience and a high school diploma or GED (associate/bachelor's preferred).

Qualifications

Minimum of 3 years of laboratory, sample receiving, login, or related environmental testing experience.
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
Experience with environmental samples, chain of custody review, sample login, and collection kit preparation preferred.
Must be able to work standing for most of the day and lift up to 55 pounds.
Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Oversee daily Sample Receiving activities, including sample login, verification, chain of custody review, and sample distribution.
Assist with scheduling, timekeeping review, and coordination of staffing resources to meet workload demands.
Provide training, coaching, and support to Sample Receiving personnel.
Ensure effective communication between Sample Receiving, laboratory departments, project management, and client services teams.
Adhere to QA/QC protocols and departmental SOPs, and update SOPs as needed.
Monitor productivity, turnaround times, and departmental performance metrics.
Investigate and resolve sample discrepancies, documentation issues, and customer concerns.
