Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Altamonte Springs, FL, is seeking a Sample Receiving Technician to join the Sample Custody Department. This full-time role requires accurate documentation, timely sample logging, and strict adherence to safety and SOPs in a fast-paced lab setting.

You will handle receiving, labeling, inventory support, and shipping of containers, with an emphasis on organization, teamwork, and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading incoming samples.
• Verifying documents are accurate and complete.
• Logging samples in Lab Management System daily and assigning a lot number.
• Labeling samples and delivering to appropriate departments for analysis.
• Disposing of spent samples and hazardous materials per procedures.
• Monitoring freezer/cooler temperatures per SOP.
• Maintaining a clean, safe work environment and promoting safety.
• Stocking and supplying inventory daily and assisting with inventory.
• Performing splits and composites as needed.
• Preparing bottle kits and coordinating shipping back to clients.
