Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing Northeast in North Kingstown, RI is hiring a Sample Receiving Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the Sample Receiving department. The role ensures accurate receipt, login, tracking, and distribution of environmental samples while supporting quality, customer service, and compliance.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in environmental testing or sample receiving, plus 1+ year of supervisory experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; associate or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of laboratory, sample receiving, sample login, or related environmental testing experience.
• Minimum of 1 year of supervisory, lead, or team leadership experience preferred.
• Experience with environmental samples, chain of custody review, sample login, and collection kit preparation preferred.
• Must be able to work standing for most of the day.
• Must be able to lift up to 55 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily Sample Receiving activities, including sample login, verification, chain of custody review, and distribution.
• Ensure QA/QC protocol adherence and SOP compliance.
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing to meet workload demands.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to Sample Receiving personnel.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and kits.
• Monitor productivity and departmental performance metrics.
• Resolve sample discrepancies and customer concerns.
