Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 2 years of merchandising experience.
• Knowledge of buying practices and management of samples.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands; lead a team.
• Strong decision-making skills and people influence at multiple levels.
• Excellent oral and written communication; organization and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain cross-functional relationships across departments involved in sample management.
• Manage samples and storage areas for assigned departments; coordinate receipt and retrieval.
• Coordinate vendor drop-off/pick-up with corporate security.
• Organize, store, mail or donate samples per business needs; manage purge schedules.
• Support buyers with equipment requests and set up for strategy/product review meetings.
• Assist HR and Buying teams with sample events (setup, photography, donations).
