Qualifications

• Must have at least 2 years of merchandising experience.
• Knowledge of buying practices and sample management.
• Ability to balance and prioritize competing demands and lead a team.
• Strong decision-making skills and the ability to influence at multiple levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with cross-functional departments across Buying, Mail Center, HR, Marketing, and Corporate Security.
• Coordinate receipt of merchandise samples from vendors and retrieval from buyers' storage areas.
• Coordinate vendor drop-off/pickup with corporate security.
• Collect, organize, store, mail or donate samples as needed according to business needs.
• Manage weekly and monthly purge schedules and ensure compliance.
• Provide support to buyers for special equipment requests (sample grids, racks) during meetings.
• Assist HR and buying teams with sample events (collection, staging, and donation).
• Help reduce merchants' workload by maintaining a sustainable sample management process.
