Job summary

IDEXX's NORTH GRAFTON, MA laboratory is seeking a Laboratory Specimen Processor to receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples for analysis. You’ll enter specimen data into our tracking system and rack and bundle samples for the testing departments, helping ensure timely Turn Around Times.

We offer extensive training, day-one benefits, and a full-time overnight schedule (Tue–Sat, 11:30pm–8:00am). You’ll join a team focused on precision, safety, and collaboration to support pet health

Qualifications

• Must have a High School diploma or equivalent.
• Fast-paced, high-volume environment experience preferred.
• Night shift/overnight position experience required.
• Ability to read and follow SOPs including safety and quality procedures.
• Able to lift up to 50 lb and perform standing/sitting for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Receive, prepare, and accession veterinary samples (blood, urine, feces, and biopsies) for laboratory analysis.
• Enter specimen data into a computer tracking system.
• Rack and bundle prepared samples for delivery to testing departments.
• Assist lab personnel with specimen storage and ensuring Turn Around Times are met.
