Job summary

Eurofins is seeking a Supervisor Group Lead for Sample Management in Lancaster, PA to oversee daily operations and supervise staff ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant handling of samples within the lab workflow.

The role focuses on employee performance, training, scheduling, and collaboration with Project Management and lab operations to meet client expectations and departmental goals.

Qualifications

• Professional working proficiency in English, reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.
• Knowledge of sample management processes and TALS.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, coach, and develop Sample Management employees to ensure performance objectives are met.
• Conduct regular one-on-one meetings for feedback, coaching, and career development.
• Oversee onboarding and training of new staff and maintain training records.
• Coordinate daily department operations, staffing plans, and workload distribution.
• Monitor performance metrics and communicate updates to leadership and shifts.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to ensure client requirements are understood and fulfilled.
• Lead departmental continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and service.
• Ensure compliance with laboratory quality systems, safety procedures, and chain-of-custody requirements.
