Job summary

Eurofins Scientific is seeking a Supervisor Group Lead, Sample Management to lead daily departmental operations, supervise personnel, and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant handling of samples throughout the laboratory workflow.

This role provides direct leadership for employee performance, development, scheduling, training, and operational execution while serving as a key liaison between Sample Management, Project Management, and laboratory operations.

• Complete all performance management activities, including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, and ongoing performance discussions.
• Address employee concerns, attendance issues, performance deficiencies, and behavioral concerns in a timely manner.

Position Summary

The Supervisor Group Lead, Sample Management is responsible for leading daily departmental operations and supervising Sample Management personnel to ensure the accurate, timely, and compliant handling of samples throughout the laboratory workflow. This role provides direct leadership for employee performance, development, scheduling, training, and operational execution while serving as a key liaison between Sample Management, Project Management, and laboratory operations. The Supervisor Group Lead oversees workflow prioritization, resolves operational and personnel issues, supports automation and storage systems, and drives continuous improvement initiatives to meet client expectations and departmental performance objectives. Through effective communication, coaching, and resource management, this position ensures a safe, productive, and customer-focused work environment.
