Job summary

Eurofins USA Environment Testing in Lancaster, PA is seeking a Supervisor Group Lead to provide technical and operational support to a laboratory group, scheduling work, training staff, and ensuring data quality and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities include coordinating department workload, maintaining turnaround times, supervising analysts, reviewing data packages, and contributing to process improvements. The role requires GC experience, English proficiency, and US work authorization.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Chemistry or related field; 6 years of experience in lieu of degree.
• Knowledge of computer systems.
• 4 years’ experience in a laboratory setting; Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience in routine and complex laboratory procedures and instruments, preferably in a production environment.
• Previous GC experience, ideally GC‑ECD or GC‑FID.
• Professional working proficiency in English is a requirement, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States without restriction or sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates work projects with department manager, operations leader and/or project managers to appropriately prioritize laboratory workload to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate and manage internal projects for the assigned department, ensuring on‑time delivery and adherence to turnaround time targets (TAT‑95 < 14 days).
• Release samples to laboratory personnel and communicate due dates and update turnaround times.
• Ensures sample and extract hold times are monitored and adhered to.
• Responsible for ensuring proper training of all new analysts and developing staff in skills, equipment and procedures.
• Caries out timecard review and approval.
