Job summary

Pfizer is seeking a candidate to join the Sample Logistics (SL) operations within Pfizer Vaccine Research and Development. You will receive clinical trial samples, track their custody, store and aliquot them, and distribute to testing labs while adhering to regulatory requirements.

You will work in a team setting under the supervision of a team leader/manager. The role requires a science degree with 0–3 years of pharma experience, proficiency in MS Office, and strong teamwork.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in a relevant scientific discipline with 0–3 years in pharma.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work effectively in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Complete processes per Sample Management SOPs and comply with GXP and regulatory requirements.
• Receive samples from clinical sites and log into the electronic database.
• Store and retrieve samples using freezers and BiOS automated storage.
• Perform manual aliquoting and use Hamilton robot for aliquoting.
• Ship samples and lab supplies to external and internal testing labs.
• Assist in maintenance of Hamilton robotic instruments.
• Participate in shipment discrepancy resolution.
• Document according to cGMP/GLP and policies, archive as required.
• Dispose of samples per policies and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
