Job summary

SPL is seeking a dedicated Lab Support Associate to join our team in Reading, PA. You will receive and document samples, verify compliance with standards, and record data in our laboratory software.

The role requires accuracy, organization, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You will support inventory, preparation, and general lab operations while ensuring a clean, safe workspace that meets all safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; science-related degree preferred.
• Experience in high-volume, fast-paced lab or sample-handling environments is desirable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; LIMS experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive and document samples from clients, couriers, shipping, lab, and field staff.
• Verify samples meet standards and comply with policies and guidelines.
• Record sample information and analyses in the lab software system.
• Label, organize, and distribute samples to appropriate personnel.
