Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) is seeking a Laboratory Sample Handler. The role involves unpacking environmental samples, recording receipt temperatures, and transferring materials to the Sample Registration area for entry.

Adherence to GMP/GLP and safety procedures is required. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, good English reading/writing skills, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs frequently and stand/walk for a full shift.
• Basic computer skills.
• Professional working proficiency in English (read, write and speak).
• Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Unpack sample kits and coolers received at the lab.
• Take and record the temperature of all environmental samples and chilled pharmaceutical samples.
• Transporting samples to different locations in the lab as needed, including on elevators.
• Read, understand, and carry out SOPs; follow safety precautions.
• Assist in Sample Registration with labeling and filing as needed.
• Maintain GMP/GLP compliance and ensure accurate sample handling.
