Job Title: Sample Management Coordinator

The Sample Management Coordinator supports laboratory operations by overseeing the receipt, tracking, storage, and distribution of samples and standards. This role follows established procedures, assists laboratory personnel with sample management processes, and helps ensure compliance with laboratory and regulatory requirements while maintaining accurate documentation and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive, log, label, inventory, store, and distribute samples and standards in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and track sample status throughout the laboratory workflow to ensure proper visibility and control.
• Communicate sample status, changes, and updates clearly and promptly to laboratory staff.
• Support proper sample handling, storage, and documentation practices to meet quality and regulatory expectations.
• Review laboratory requests to ensure they comply with standard operating procedures and established sample management processes.
• Assist with investigations, deviations, corrective actions, and preventive actions (CAPAs) related to sample management activities.
• Train laboratory personnel on sample management procedures, documentation practices, and storage requirements.
• Respond to environmental monitoring alarms and participate in on‑call support as needed to maintain sample integrity and safety.
• Follow all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements in daily work activities.
• Complete assigned work accurately and within established timelines to support overall laboratory operations.

Essential Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sample management, inventory control, laboratory operations, or a related field.
• Knowledge of inventory management and sample tracking processes.
• Understanding of laboratory documentation and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to review and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Work Environment

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.30 - $18.30/hr.
