Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing (USA) seeks a motivated Sample Control Technician I in Anchorage, AK. This full-time, temporary role (90 days) handles sample receipt, logging, labeling and preparation of bottle kits for testing, with potential courier duties to support lab operations.

The position runs Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. – 5 p.m., with overtime as needed. Some duties may include on-call sampling and fleet-related tasks to ensure client needs are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or equivalent experience.
• DOT certificate may be required within 90 days of hire for shipping hazardous chemicals.
• Valid state driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• TWIC and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming samples or consignments per DOT regulations and verifies receipt against Chain of Custody.
• Logs samples into Lab Management System daily and assigns lot numbers for tracking.
• Labels samples and delivers to appropriate labs for analysis.
• Prepares bottle kits to be shipped to clients and collected samples for return.

Education
