Job summary

Eurofins Environment Testing in Anchorage, AK seeks a Sample Control Technician I for a full-time, 90-day assignment. You will log, label, and ship samples, manage chain-of-custody, and perform occasional courier duties to support laboratory operations.

You're expected to handle DOT-compliant packaging, ensure cold-chain integrity, and assist with inventory and safety procedures while maintaining accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• DOT certificate may be required within 90 days of date of hire.
• Valid state issued driver’s license to operate company vehicles.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle background check as required for company driver certification.
• TWIC card and TSA clearance may be required within 90 days of date of hire.
• May drive for long periods, up to 8 hours per day.

Responsibilities

• Receives and unloads incoming samples per DOT; verifies receipt against Chain of Custody (COC).
• Logs samples into Lab Management System and assigns lot numbers.
• Labels and delivers samples to labs for analysis daily.
• Prepares bottle kits for shipping to clients; follows EPA and DOT requirements.
• Disposes of spent samples and waste per established procedures.
• Maintains temperatures in freezers and coolers per SOPs.
