Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Same Day Surgery team at St. Vincent Hospital in Billings, MT. The role emphasizes comprehensive patient assessment, collaborative planning, and leading interdisciplinary care to deliver high-quality outcomes.

You will work four 10-hour shifts or an alternate 36-hour schedule, with no required call shifts, supporting a holistic care model in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice; compact licenses must transfer within 60 days of start.
• BSN from an accredited institution; BSN required as of 4/27/2025 update.
• Basic Life Support Certification (BLS) for healthcare providers.
• RN with less than 12 months experience must obtain BSN within four years of hire date.

Responsibilities

• Assess: perform comprehensive assessment of physical, social, and psychological status and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
• Plan: develop individualized plan of care with patient and family involvement.
• Implement: coordinate and delegate care, manage resources, and ensure timely documentation.
• Evaluate: reassess outcomes, revise the plan as needed, and ensure patient/family satisfaction.
• Promote professionalism, uphold legal/ethical standards, and maintain regulatory compliance.
