Easterseals MORC in Pontiac, MI is seeking a Team Support Specialist for Same Day Access to help connect individuals with timely services and compassionate support.

The role includes greeting consumers, triaging inquiries, scanning documents into the EMR, and guiding intake from first access through ongoing program services, across in-person, telehealth, and virtual channels. A strong clerical background and customer-service mindset are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivilent.
• At least two years experience in a full time clerical position.

Responsabilités

• 1. Demonstrate ability to engage consumers in a welcoming, hopeful, empathetic manner regardless of disability or phase of recovery.
• 2. Assist individuals served by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and fulfilling requests across diverse communication channels, including telephone, telehealth, email, live chat, and in-person interactions.
• 3. Responsible for answering and triaging internal and external telephone calls. Conducts initial screening of consumers and other patrons to determine the nature of requests or problems, takes messages, refers to the appropriate parties and performs related customer service activities representing the program to the general public.
• 4. Look up new individuals in EMR and add new individual charts when appropriate.
• 5. Enhances engagement and outreach of new individuals by providing a welcoming, supportive intake experience and offering smooth transition from an individual’s first access point for services to intake appointment and to ongoing program services.
• 6. Direct services may include outreach and engagement in the office or virtually.
• 7. Educates new individuals on EM service array and Same Day Access process.
• 8. May take and maintain Team meeting minutes as requested.
• 9. Scanning documents (IDs, insurance cards, etc) into Easterseals MORC's EHR.
• 10. Distributing and explaining intake forms to new individuals.
• 11. Calculating Ability to Pay (ATP) financial information with new individuals served and collecting signatures.
