Job summary

Goodwill-Industries-of-South-Central-California is hiring a Processing Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of the commercial salvage department and centralized processing team in Bakersfield. You will help plan inventory, coordinate merchandise distribution to stores, and train staff to maintain safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 1 year related supervisory experience.
• Excellent oral, written and documentation skills.
• Proficient technology and computer skills including Microsoft Office.
• Demonstrated ability in managing databases regarding client information.

Responsibilities

• Supervise staff to meet production standards and ensure security of merchandise.
• Collaborate with retail store management to support store needs.
• Sort, price, and mark merchandise; coordinate distribution for stores.
• Perform payroll, scheduling, records, and training tasks.
• Maintain cleanliness and enforce safety policies in the donation area.
• Keep accurate records of inventory, distribution, and loss prevention.
• Enforce company policies and ensure confidentiality at all times.
• Attend meetings and training; communicate policies to staff.
• Provide customer service and maintain professional relationships.
