Job summary

Goodwill of Central & Northern Arizona is hiring an Equipment Operator to operate baling machines and forklifts, load and unload donated goods, and maintain a safe, efficient Retail Operations Center. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, forklift certification, and at least 3 years of experience.

You will assist leadership in training others, ensure compliance with safety rules, and help move merchandise while maintaining excellent attendance and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Requires High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to train and mentor others as needed.

Responsibilities

• Operate baling machines to compress donated goods into bales.
• Transport materials using a sit-down forklift and pallet jack.
• Perform pre-shift inspections on forklifts and bale machines.
• Follow safety rules, wear required PPE, and report hazards.
• Assist leadership in training Equipment Operators and supporting ROC departments.
